April 2018: Angus the Philanthropy Dog – Giving Compass

April 2018: Angus the Philanthropy Dog – Giving Compass

Giving Compass

Angus the Philanthropy Dog

Angus, like most Jack Russell Terriers, is a charming dog with a big heart! He guides people to impact with GivingCompass.org. Giving Compass is a nonprofit that is organizing the world’s information to make it easier to give well.

Angus enjoys being active, meeting new people, and making new furry friends (AKC registered or not). His engaging personality and high energy make him the perfect mascot to inspire people to spend 5 minutes a week becoming impact philanthropists by learning, connecting and taking action with Giving Compass.. Giving wisely can be hard, but Angus helps people experience the exponential joy in giving well. He is a loyal companion for the journey to making a real difference.

Most memorable experience: Helping the CEO of GivingCompass.org throw out the first pitch at Safeco Field at a Seattle Mariners’ game (the game was a “Bark in the Park” evening, when fans can bring their dogs to help cheer on the team).

Favorite charitable organization: Angus loves to give to all causes, but he has a soft spot for animal welfare organizations. He knows he can find new opportunities to give by searching the hundreds of thousands of charitable organizations and volunteer opportunities at GivingCompass.org.

Favorite color: Lime green!

Favorite TV show: Who has time for TV? Angus is busy volunteering in his spare time.

Once piece of advice: Don’t chase your tail trying to make an impact, use the compass!
